2024 registration of planning firms
INTRODUCTION:
It is announced for the information of members of the Institute and the general public that the 2025 GIP Membership Application window is opened from 6th January 2025 to 30th April 2025 (mid-night).
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Fully completed Application Form. You are required to complete the application form online at Planning Firms Registration Form – Ghana Institute of Planners | GIP (https://gip.org.gh/planning-firms-registration-form/). You have the option for completing the hard copy form, but this will be at additional cost of Ghc100 to the applicant. Please attach (upload) the following as part of the application package:
- Passport-sized photos Directors
- Company registration certificates with the Registrar General’s Department
- Brief Company Profile
2. At least three years of post-registration practical work experience
3. Pay the requisite application fees of GH₵2,000.00, Payments should be made via MTN MoMo Number 0244448608. Send evidence of payment to the same number which doubles as a WhatsApp number. Applicants who fail to pay by the deadline of the application process will not be processed for certification. APPLICATION DEADLINE:
Application for membership should be completed by mid-night of 30th April 2025. Hard copy applications should be delivered at GIP Secretariat, Block D (Room 9), Service Road, Ministries, Accra – in the Head Office building of the Land Use and Spatial Planning Authority (LUSPA).
