A delegation from the Ghana Institute of Planners (GIP) attended the Professional Inaugural Lecture of Prof. Michael Poku-Boansi. The event was held at the Great Hall of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.
The team was led by thr President of the Institute, Pln. Mohammed A. Damba (FGIP). The other members were Pln. Percy Anaab Bukari (FGIP, First Vice President), Pln. Dr. Audrey Smock Amoah and Pln. Kenneth Yaoh Ketor (Honorary Secretary). Pln. Prof. Clifford Amoako (FGIP and Second Vice President), who was also the Head of the Department of Planning, KNUST, was also present at the event.
Professorial Inaugural Lecture is occasion organized by KNUST to usher an Associate Professor into into the rank of full Professorship.
Prof. Michael Poku-Boansi is a Fellow of the Institute and Deputy Director of School of Graduate Studies, KNUST. He was a Head of department at the Department of Planning.
