Membership Admission Application
It is announced for the information of the general public that the 2022 GIP Membership Application window is opened, commencing from 1st January 2022 to 30th April 2022 (mid-night) for the various category of membership:
1. Graduate Membership
2. Planning Technicians
3. Corporate Membership
4. Fellows of the Institute
5. Firms
Qualification:
Graduate Membership – A minimum of first degree in planning and one year working experience (including national service).
Planning Technicians – A minimum of Post-Secondary academic certificate from a recognized institution and at least six (6) years of working experience in the planning field.
Corporate Membership – A minimum of first degree in planning and at least four years working experience OR minimum of first degree in related discipline and at least six years working experience in the planning field.
Fellows of the Institute – Corporate Membership Certificate and at least ten (10) years of being a member.
Requirements:
1. Academic Certificate
2. CV
3. Professional portfolio (3No.) – Not required for graduate membership
4. NSS Certificate (Optional for planning technicians)
5. Ghana Card Number
6. Passport Picture
NB: All documents should be uploaded in PDF file format with each file not exceeding 20MB.
ADMISSION FEES
1. Graduate Membership – GHȻ400.00
2. Planning Technicians – GHȻ700.00
3. Corporate Membership –GHȻ1,000.00
4. Fellow Membership – GHȻ1,500.00
5. Firms – GHȻ2,000.00
MODE OF PAYMENT:
Payment should be done online via the GIP website (https://gip.org.gh/gip-membership-application/.) during application or should be made via the Institute’s MoMo Number 0244448608 – Ghana Institute of Planners.
Evidence of payment should be sent to same number through WhatsApp.
