Pln. Mrs. Lilian Baeka (MGIP, ESQ) was the Director, Management and Technical Services at the Office of the Head of Local Government Service until her appointment as the Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Director.
She was a Municipal Planning Officer for Adentan, New Juaben and Tema Municipal Assemblies.
She holds a Master’s Degree in MSc Economics from Donetsk State University, Ukraine and MA Urban Management from the Institute of Housing and Development Studies (IHS) under the Erasmus University, Rotterdam in The Netherlands. She pursued a Bachelor of Law Degree (LL.B) at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) before going to the Ghana School of Law for her Barrister at Law (BL) Certificate which qualified her as a Lawyer and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana. She also has a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) from the Institute of Paralegal Training and Leadership Studies (IPLS).
She is a member of the Ghana Institute of Planners (GIP), Ghana Bar Association (GBA) and ADR Practitioners of Ghana.
She worked on a number of Donour Projects under the World Bank, European Union (EU) among others.
She had attended various courses both locally and internationally in Project Management and Administration, Monitoring and Evaluation.
